Metamorphoses
By touching a metamorphosis bubble, you can transform into the depicted form. Reaching a Yoshi Block in this state will end the transformation and allow you to proceed. However, if you fail to reach it within the time limit, you will be sent back to the starting point.

| Helicopter | Allows you to fly through the sky. |
| Mole Tank | Allows you to break soft rocks and climb walls to proceed. |
| Submarine | Allows you to move underwater. Press the Y or B button to fire torpedoes. |
| Train | Allows you to run along tracks. Press the Y or B button to dash. |
| Vehicle | Allows you to move quickly on land. Press the Y or B button to stretch upward. |
