2-5: Watch Out For Lakitu

Map

2-5 Map
  • You cannot pound the ground on the crate containing the key at ★1 (in the later part of Outside Area 1) because it is above the soft rock. To break it, either activate the switch inside the central hidden Winged Cloud to make ! Blocks appear under the crate, or move the crate to the Wooden Ferry.
  • The hidden Winged Cloud at ★2 (in the later part of Outside Area 1) appears when you bring the Chomp Rock from just past it and hit it.
  • The two hidden Winged Clouds can be found in Outside Area 2: one at the top-left, and another inside the soft rock. Both reveal switches and activate them to reveal the entrances (D and F). D leads to Bonus Area 1 with 264 coins, while F leads to Bonus Area 2 with 136 coins.
