4-2: The Cave Of The Lakitus

There are two entrances in Ground. Entering from the left, you can earn a 1-UP by defeating eight Koopa Troopas with a shell at ★1 (at the far left of Ground 1).
In the later part of Underground Area 1, activate the switch above the soft rock to reveal the entrance to C.

Collect it using a shell, by hitting the Koopa Troopa on the final bridge with an egg
(Or reach it directly by flutter jumping from the platform where the switch is)

Kick the shell in the early part to slide it into the gap to the bottom-right of the stair
After flutter jumping over the bottom-central spike
In the later part, collect it by throwing an egg at the Arrow Cloud

Tap-Tap	×	×	×	×	×	○	○	○	Both walk and jump types are found. They cannot be eaten, but can be pushed with the tongue.
Beach Koopa	○	○	○	○	○	○	○	○	A Koopa Troopa without its shell. It will attach to the shell lying on the ground.
Koopa Troopa	△	△	○	△	△	○	○	○	After you stomp on it, it loses its shell and becomes a Beach Koopa. If you pound the ground, it can be defeated in one hit, even when it still has its shell.
Wall Lakitu	○	○	○	○	○	×	×	○	Sticks its face out of a hole in the wall and throws spiny eggs.

△: Can be defeated under certain conditions (e.g., multiple attacks, attacking during a specific state, etc.)
×: Cannot be defeated
★: Transforms into a Star (only in the Green Watermelon column)
The "Transform" column indicates whether the enemy can be defeated by using the Special Item "Anywhere POW", "Winged Cloud Maker", or by passing through the Middle Ring.
