Flying Shy Guy	○	×	○	○	1	3	Same-color, Black, White	Changes color by pounding the ground nearby. Leaves after you eat the fruit he holds.
Flying Shy Guy (Group)	○	×	○	○	3	-	-	Appear in groups of four. Only adds to the score if eaten. Defeating all of them at once with an egg makes a melon appear.
Black Shy Guy	○	×	○	○	-1	2	Black, White	Drops weights upon approach. Even when defeated, another Shy Guy appears.
Tehee Butterfly	○	○	×	○	3	8	Red, Pink, Black, White	Changes to blue at regular intervals. When blue, it costs a life (except for Black & White Yoshi).
Lakitu	○	○	×	○	3	8	Black, White	After defeating, you can ride on a cloud. Only adds to the score if eaten.
Nipper Plant	○	○	×	○	1	3	Black, White	Emerges from a seed falling from above. Stomping it does not add to the score.
Nipper Spore	○	×	×	○	-1	0	Black, White	Defeating it with an egg adds to the same score as a Nipper Plant. When it reaches the ground, it transforms into a Nipper Plant.
Puffer	○	○	×	○	1	3	Yellow, Light-blue, Black, White	You can also eat the ball it shoots, turning it into an egg.
Bullet Bill	○	○	×	○	2	-	-	Continuously spawns from a cannon.
Do-Drop	○	×	×	○	-1	0	Black, White	Spawns endlessly. Even if eaten, it cannot be turned into an egg.
Spiked Fun Guy	○	×	×	○	0	2	Black, White	Emerges from background drainpipes and rolls toward you. Spawns indefinitely.
Bumpty	○	×	×	○	0	1	Black, White	Does not take damage on contact but bounces you off. Only adds to the score if eaten.
Bee	○	○	×	○	0	2	Black, White	Flies straight toward you. Spawns endlessly.
Peeper	○	○	×	○	0	-	-	Spawns endlessly. Hitting it with an egg turns it into grilled chicken, and eating it restores 2 lives.

Frog	○	○	×	○	0	2	Green, Black, White	Spawns indefinitely. Sometimes appears in a smaller size.
Cheep Cheeps	○	×	×	×	1	2	Red, Pink, Black, White	Swims underwater.
Mr. Eel	○	×	×	×	2	-	-	Spawns endlessly. Even if eaten, it cannot be turned into an egg.

Pak E. Derm	Falls over by pounding the ground nearby, allowing you to pass through.
Fuzzy Wiggler	Defeated by stomping all five body parts, then drops a melon.
Spider	When hit with an egg, it climbs upward. Cannot be defeated.
Air Bag	Emerges from Mystery Crates. Hit its belly-button bandage with an egg twice to defeat it and turn it into a melon.
Spike	Bounces eggs. Cannot be defeated.
Bone Dragon	Defeated by hitting its head twice with either an egg or pounding the ground.
Spark Spook	Emerges from lava. Cannot be defeated.
Lava Ghost	Jumps out diagonally from lava. Cannot be defeated.
Blargg	Spawns periodically from lava. When hit with an egg, it retreats into the lava temporarily.
Slug	Defeated by hitting its eyes with fireworks three times.
Raven	Circles around a ball. Cannot be defeated.
ComBat	Moves vertically in mid-air. Can be defeated by hitting it with an egg.
Snow Guy	Can be defeated only by pounding the ground while invincible.
Goonie	You can ride on it, and it can be defeated with an egg.
Centipede	Moves along a path. Cannot be defeated.
Chomp	Moves horizontally. Cannot be defeated.
Beehive	The bees appear from it and get in your way. You can pass through by walking slowly or sniffing along the way.
Red Blurp	Being eaten by it will result in a miss. Cannot be defeated.
Blue Blurp	Being eaten by it will result in a miss. Cannot be defeated.
Piranha Plant	Defeated by hitting its face with an egg.
Piranha Pest	If you are swallowed, you shrink temporarily. Can be defeated with an egg.
Piranha Sprout	If you are swallowed, you shrink temporarily. Can be defeated with an egg.
Sea Cactus	Bounces eggs. Cannot be defeated.
Jellyfish	Blue ones move vertically, red ones chase Yoshi, and green ones remain stationary. Cannot be defeated.
Spiny Fish	Moves horizontally underwater. Cannot be defeated.
Snorkel Snake	Chases Yoshi and moves in circles underwater. Cannot be defeated.
Clam	Emits bubbles at regular intervals. Cannot be defeated.
Sea Anemone	Sways its tentacles gently. Cannot be defeated.
Submarine Guy	Fires torpedoes at Yoshi at regular intervals. Cannot be defeated.
Pirate Guy	Appears in the background and throws Bob-ombs at Yoshi. Cannot be defeated.
Bamboo dancer	Dances while holding a bamboo. Cannot be defeated.
Bob-omb	Explodes after a fixed amount of time.
Big Boo	Appears when Yoshi's back is turned. If hit with fireworks during that time, it can be defeated.
Big & Little Boo	Moves in the opposite direction of Yoshi. A melon is mixed in with the children. Cannot be defeated.
Blindfold Boo	Notices when you run and chases you. Cannot be defeated.
Boo Block	Moves when Yoshi's back is turned and becomes a block when watched. Hit it with fireworks three times while it's moving to defeat it.
Boo Buddy	Defeated either by hitting it with an egg or pounding the ground while invincible.
Jelly Ghost	Defeated by pounding the ground its face.
Attacky Sack	Moves straight until it collides with a wall. Cannot be defeated.
Burner Guy	Moves a burner. Cannot be defeated.
